Satellite Sessions

Produce parties with a purpose, hosted at the Stanford d.school.

Project Overview.

Satellite Sessions are vibrant, purpose-driven parties hosted at the Stanford d.school, designed to share inspiration, insight, and opportunity from the broader world of design—through the energy of music, art, and unexpected moments. These events bring the design community together in immersive, memorable ways, channeling the d.school’s creative spirit into real-time experiences.

My Role.

As the Student Producer, I work closely with Executive Producer Seamus Yu Harte to bring a student lens to each event—helping shape the vibe, build excitement on campus, and ensure the sessions resonate with the Stanford community.

My responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to creative and logistical planning leading up to and during events

  • Collaborating with pop-up participants and external partners to curate unique on-site experiences

  • Exploring experiential design strategies to activate the d.school’s distinctive space and culture

  • Learning how space, identity, and interaction come together to create powerful, engaging events

This role has deepened my interest in designing for experience—where space, people, and storytelling collide to create something unforgettable.
